GlimpseHackathon

Rules & Guidelines

Eligibility

Open to anyone worldwide. You can hack solo or in a team of up to 2 people. Team composition can change during the hacking phase — teams lock once a submission is finalized.

What to build

Every submission must meaningfully integrate Glimpse data or the Glimpse API — see "Glimpse Integration" in the judging criteria below. You're free to use pre-existing code or open-source libraries, but the core logic must be built during the hackathon. Clearly note in your submission what was pre-existing versus what you built.

What to submit

  • A 3–5 minute demo video (Loom or YouTube) showing it working
  • A public GitHub repository — private repos at the deadline are disqualified
  • A project description, including how it uses Glimpse
  • A live deployed demo URL (optional, but strongly encouraged)

Judging

Every submission is scored against four weighted criteria:

  • Technical Depth (30%) — Quality, complexity, and craft of the implementation.
  • Glimpse Integration (25%) — How meaningfully the project uses Glimpse data or API.
  • UX & Demo Quality (20%) — Working prototype quality. Demo video clarity.
  • Track Performance (25%) — Bot Trading: profits made over time on Glimpse. Data Science: forecasting model accuracy and edge.

Conduct

All participants, judges, and organizers must follow our Code of Conduct. Violations may result in disqualification or removal from the event.
